Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Gallindo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micheal Cushing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gallindo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Eppur Si muove. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cushing tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gallindo swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Gallindo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gallindo wants it to stay on the feet.
Gallindo lands a head kick. Cushing smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Micheal Cushing has been cut.

Gallindo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cushing is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Cushing shoots in looking for a takedown. Gallindo tries to sprawl out of it but Cushing keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gallindo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Eduardo Gallindo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Micheal Cushing.

Cushing lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gallindo circles away quickly and effectively.

Cushing shoots in looking for a takedown but Gallindo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cushing's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Cushing feints and then cracks Gallindo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gallindo down.

Cushing shoots in for a double leg but Gallindo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Cushing throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gallindo's waist but Gallindo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cushing off to one side.

Cushing shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cushing showed some decent athleticism there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cushing is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Gallindo!
Gallindo is trying to stand but he's just given Cushing his back.
