Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hiroshi Karasawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kratus Pretorian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hiroshi Karasawa could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kratus Pretorian's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiroshi Karasawa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kratus Pretorian!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pretorian shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Karasawa counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Pretorian is trying to stand up here but Karasawa is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pretorian really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Karasawa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Karasawa is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pretorian is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Pretorian shoots for a double leg takedown but Karasawa sprawls well. He's pushed Pretorian's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Karasawa takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hiroshi Karasawa.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Karasawa, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
