Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Benito Sobral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Werner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bill Werner told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Sobral scores with a four punch combination!
Werner shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sobral as he avoids it easily.
Sobral tries to clinch but Werner moves out of range.
Sobral looks to land a combination. Werner sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Sobral feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Sobral drops back looking for a leg! Werner is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Werner manages to kick Sobral off! Sobral jumps back into Werner's guard.
