Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Edward Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bibiano Fernandes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Watson comes to the cage accompanied by Billie Jean. Edward Watson looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson punishes Fernandes's body with a nice straight punch.
Watson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Fernandes tries for a takedown but Watson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Watson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Fernandes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Watson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fernandes postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Fernandes drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Watson dives on top into guard.

Fernandes is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Fernandes is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Watson wants to get back to his feet.

Fernandes is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Watson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Fernandes.

Fernandes throws and elbow that misses. Watson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fernandes's guard. Nice move by Watson!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fernandes is on top in guard.
Fernandes loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Watson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Fernandes!
Fernandes gets back to half guard.
Fernandes is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Watson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Watson's back!
Watson is trying to defend against the choke here but Fernandes has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Fernandes Tightens the hold and Watson taps out furiously! Fernandes displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Bibiano Fernandes!
