The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shimazu is looking to land body kicks.
Shimazu uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pottendarm.
Shimazu throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Pottendarm's head.
Shimazu tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pottendarm was well out of range. Poor timing from Shimazu.
Shimazu walks into a jab.
Pottendarm leaves Shimazu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Pottendarm tries a low kick but Shimazu avoids it.
Pottendarm lands with a good body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pottendarm blocks a head kick by Shimazu.
Pottendarm throws a sloppy head kick
and Shimazu counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Pottendarm works Shimazu's body with a nice hook.

Pottendarm lands a big head kick that sends Shimazu tumbling to the mat! Pottendarm takes a step backwards and waves Shimazu back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like William Shimazu has been cut.
Pottendarm scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Shimazu is breathing heavily.
Shimazu takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Shimazu takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Pottendarm scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Shimazu is rocked!
Pottendarm connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Shimazu to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Pottendarm!
