Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Didell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Case (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chuck Didell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 13 - 1, fighting out of New York, Justin Case!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Case throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Didell's head.


It looks like Chuck Didell has been cut.
Case scores with a jab to the head.
Case fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Case turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Case shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Case fails to land with a series of punches.
Didell throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Case counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Case throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Didell stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Didell pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Didell leaves Case with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Didell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Case.
Case misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Didell counters with a nice low kick that buckles Case's knee momentarily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Justin Case seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Case moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Case connects with a crisp jab.

Case throws a lazy right hand but Didell sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Case throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Didell misses with an uppercut. Case saw that one coming.
Didell avoids the head kick by Case.
Case just misses with a punch to the body.
Didell uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Case.
Some bone on bone action there as Case checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Case throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Didell's waist but Didell gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Case off to one side.

Case tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Case prevents a body shot from Didell.
Didell pushes Case back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Didell swings wildly with an uppercut but Case uses good head movement to avoid it.
Case is trying to break the clinch but Didell is controlling him.
Didell lands a left hand.
Didell has a couple of punches blocked by Case.
Case is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Didell pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Case is trying to push Didell away but Didell has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Didell tries to throw a body punch but Case avoids it by throwing Didell back against the cage.
Didell swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Case has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Didell tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

That's time! Didell's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Case uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Didell.
Case lands with a kick to the temple. Didell shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Justin Case seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Case lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Didell has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Didell and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Case lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Didell circles away quickly and effectively.
Case throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Case throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Case stalks Didell and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Didell's face. Didell staggers backwards, shaken.
Case throws a body punch but Didell moves out of range.

Case buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Case lands a leg kick that knocks Didell off balance momentarily.
Case misses with a few strikes there.
Case throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Case ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

and Case counters with a body kick.
Case throws out a loose jab but Didell uses good head movement to avoid it.

Case clobbers Didell with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Case goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Didell tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Case manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Case is trying hard to land a takedown here. Didell sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Didell looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

I would just about give that final round to Justin Case.
