The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hickey shoots for a double leg takedown but King sprawls well. He's pushed Hickey's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
King throws a right and a left that Hickey avoids nicely.

Hickey gets tackled into the cage by King. King maintains the clinch.
King wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Hickey keeps control of King as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

King tries to circle away but Hickey has him pinned against the cage.
King lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hickey backwards.

King breaks the clinch.

King drops Hickey with a beautiful combination! Hickey stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - King is looking for the KO!

It looks like Jake Hickey has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
King connects with a nice cross there... Hickey is looking wobbly and King recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Hickey to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - King jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
