Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ace Darko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buck Naked (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darko kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sully Erna - Avalon. Naked has chosen I Want You as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
23 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ace Darko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

22 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Buck Naked!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naked throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Buck Naked seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Naked looks for the body kick but Darko saw that one coming.
Naked lunges at Darko with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Darko's hand.
Darko blocks a head kick by Naked.
Darko fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Darko misses with a body shot.
Darko scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Naked cracks Darko with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Darko looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Naked is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Darko's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Darko's back!
Naked has the hooks in. Darko is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Naked has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Darko's body.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Naked wants to stand and escape but instead Darko has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Naked is pushing Darko's head away, looking to escape. Darko manages to hold on to the position though.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Darko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Naked tries to avoid it but Darko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Naked to the ground. Naked escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Darko shoots in for a takedown but Naked shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Naked throws a lazy body kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Darko takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Darko throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Darko will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Naked stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Naked wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ace Darko. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Darko feints and then cracks Naked's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Naked down.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Darko fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Naked avoids it really well and circles away.
Naked lands with a kick to the temple. Darko shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Buck Naked will probably get the nod.
That's time! Darko's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Naked throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Darko sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Darko counters with a right hand to the body.
Darko throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Naked was covering up waiting for the punch and Darko finishes the takedown easily into guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ace Darko.
