And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cao misses with a wild body shot.
Clapper feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Cao keeping moving, preventing Clapper from controlling successfully.
Clapper is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Cao is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Clapper defends well.
Cao scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Cao looks to throw the jab but Clapper is out of range.
Clapper instigates a clinch.
Clapper has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Cao after a bit of a struggle.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Clapper is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Cao can't fight it off and eventually Clapper manages to take the fight to the floor. Cao looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Cao wants to sweep but no luck.
Cao has his hands on Clapper's head, controlling the position.
Clapper wants to control from the top but Cao keeps moving.
Cao is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Clapper is aware though and is defending well.
Clapper pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cao is keeping the position for now.

Clapper won't allow Cao to sweep him here.
Clapper must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Cao has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Clapper doesn't defend quickly enough and Cao has managed to lock this one up! Can Clapper escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Cao on a fantastic submission victory.
