Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Platinum Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bodies. Gold has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Anderson Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva rushes Gold and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Silva lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Silva wants to break the clinch but can't.
A frustrated look appears on Silva's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Gold throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Gold throws an elbow but it misses.
Gold blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Silva has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Silva tries to break the clinch but Gold is controlling the position.

Silva throws a front kick that sends Gold stumbling back into the cage.

Silva's corner calls for a 1-2. Silva obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Silva ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silva digs a good hook to Gold's body.
Gold fails with an attempt to clinch.

Silva thumps Gold with a low kick.
Silva lands a head kick. Gold smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Platinum Gold has been cut.
Gold is trying hard to land a takedown here. Silva sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Silva throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gold stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Silva connects with a jab.
Silva lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Silva punishes Gold's body with a nice straight punch.

Silva lands with a right that hurts Gold. Gold looks to clinch but Silva throws a short knee that drops Gold. This one is all over!
