The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin looks to land a right hand but ORielly moved out of range.
Griffin blocks a low kick nicely.
Aiden ORielly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Griffin fails with the takedown
and Griffin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Griffin takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Griffin looks to land a right hand but ORielly moved out of range.

Griffin digs a good body shot into ORielly's ribs.

ORielly connects with a leg kick. Griffin looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Griffin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around ORielly's waist but ORielly gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Griffin off to one side.

ORielly pivots, looking for a leg kick but Griffin is out of range and ORielly settles back down.

ORielly bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Griffin's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Aiden ORielly wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from ORielly lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Griffin has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Griffin and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Griffin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Aiden ORielly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

ORielly throws a left that rocks Griffin and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! ORielly dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Griffin regain composure!
