The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcavin throws a series of punches but Fitch moves out of range.

Mcavin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mcavin wants it to stay on the feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Shooter Mcavin will probably get the nod.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mcavin has Fitch pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mcavin pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Fitch tumbling to the mat - Mcavin dives into Fitch's guard.

Fitch is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mcavin defends well.
