PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frederick Kromer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Balls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kromer might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cold As Ice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kromer goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Balls shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kromer defends it nicely.
Kromer misses with a shot to the body
and Balls counters with a left and a right that stings Kromer.
Kromer stuns Balls with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kromer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kromer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kromer wants it to stay on the feet.

Kromer moves into range and connects with a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Balls dives in and grabs Kromer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kromer pushes down on Balls's head and hops out.

Balls changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kromer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
