The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davydov tries to sprawl but Mox drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Davydov is defending against the submission attempts here by Mox.
Mox is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mox seems to be working for a kimura but Davydov defends the submission attempt.
Mox is taking a breather. Davydov says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Mox breaks from Davydov's wrist control and lands an elbow.
