PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kai Kangaskokko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dana OBrien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kangaskokko kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Fleshgod Apocalypse - The Violation. Dana OBrien has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dana OBrien!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OBrien swings away with a body shot that misses
and Kangaskokko counters with an inside leg kick.
A head kick from Kangaskokko lands but OBrien takes it in his stride.
Kangaskokko lands with a nice combination. OBrien backs away looking to recover.


It looks like Dana OBrien has been cut.

OBrien closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kangaskokko did well to prevent OBrien getting side control.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Kai Kangaskokko will probably get the nod.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
OBrien is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dana OBrien's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
