Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Renato Sanches (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanches comes to the cage accompanied by Breaking Benjamin - Ordinary Man . Carlos Gracie will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanches throws a jab but it's blocked by Gracie.
Gracie thows a body shot but no joy.
Sanches misses with the body kick
and Gracie moves into the clinch.
Gracie lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Gracie struggles to land a body shot inside as Sanches controls his hands.
Gracie lands a left hand.
Gracie lands a body punch in the clinch.
Gracie tries a body shot but Sanches blocks it.
Sanches can't find room to land a body shot as Gracie controls the action.
Gracie lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Sanches.
Sanches wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Gracie has him pressed against the cage.
Gracie wants a takedown.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sanches lands an uppercut.
It looks like Carlos Gracie has been cut.
Gracie lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Gracie fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Sanches prevents a body shot from Gracie.
Gracie turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Gracie is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Sanches's shoulder. That is not cool.

Sanches is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie trying to control the action but Sanches is working from the bottom.
Gracie working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Gracie prevents Sanches from escaping the position.
Sanches taking punishment in the form of punches.
Sanches prevents Gracie from moving into mount.
Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Sanches is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Sanches is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Gracie asserts his dominance and retains side control.
You can see the frustration on Sanches's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Sanches avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Gracie.

Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Sanches is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Gracie looks up at the clock and then as Sanches takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Gracie smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Sanches is trying to improve his position.
Sanches regains half guard.
Gracie throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sanches is refusing to be controlled, as Gracie sits in half guard.
Gracie takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Sanches is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Gracie with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Sanches keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Sanches pushes Gracie off looking to stand but Gracie dives back in and keeps control.
Sanches tries to roll over but Gracie keeps him under control.
That's five minutes gone in the round.
Sanches is breathing heavily.
Gracie passes the guard and advances to mount!
Gracie lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Sanches is rocked!
It looks like Renato Sanches has been cut.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Gracie! Sanches is hurt baaadly! Gracie is firing away with more strikes - Sanches is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carlos Gracie!
An out of breath and clearly excited Carlos Gracie thanked Resistance for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
