Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Wasiliy Zorin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edgar Hoover!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zorin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hoover stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hoover tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zorin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hoover somewhat.
Zorin looks to land a combination. Hoover sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Zorin throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hoover looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Zorin is fending him off so far but Hoover persists. Nope, Zorin circles away and we're back to standing.
Hoover scores with a sloppy right hand. Zorin should have avoided that one.
Zorin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Zorin takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hoover throws a right and a left that both miss.
Edgar Hoover seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Zorin counters with a left and a right that stings Hoover.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zorin scores with a hook to the body. Hoover takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
No joy there for Zorin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Zorin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hoover.
Zorin misses the shot to the body.

Hoover scores a takedown into full mount!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Hoover is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Zorin can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

It looks like Wasiliy Zorin has been cut.

You get the feeling that Zorin really doesn't like being in this position too much.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hoover connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hoover lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hoover looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Wasiliy Zorin's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
