Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ice Cube (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dee Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cube comes to the cage accompanied by Bow Down. Ice Cube has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Cube throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jay throws a series of punches but Cube avoids them all with ease.

Dee Jay seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Cube swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jay.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ice Cube. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cube fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jay avoids it really well and circles away.
Jay lands a jab to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jay lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Cube on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Ice Cube is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Jay is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cube.
Jay swings for the body but Cube moves out of range.
Cube walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Ice Cube has been cut.
Jay bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cube's head backwards.

Dee Jay showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Jay lands a big uppercut and Cube crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Cube looks OK. Jay waves Cube back to his feet!
Oh Cube is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cube shoots for a takedown but Jay saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Cube seems to have got his legs back now.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Jay throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Cube stumbling backwards into the cage! Cube bounces back off the cage towards Jay, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Jay lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Jay celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
