The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strife clinches up with Vlad and pushes him back against the cage.
Strife is defending well against a takedown attempt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Vlad connects with a nice short shot to Strife's temple.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Strife looks to score with a jab to the body but Vlad is just out of range.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Strife fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Vlad looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Strife just misses with a punch to the body.
Strife has closed the distance and engaged Vlad in a clinch.
Strife gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Vlad.
Strife has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Vlad clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Strife's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Vlad trying to control the position but Strife manages to sink in the hooks.
Vlad rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
