PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikko Kytta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milo Kroton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kytta comes into the arena with The Odorants - This Night blaring out of the sound system. Kroton is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mastodon - Blood and Thunder. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kroton throws a low kick but Kytta avoids it.
Kroton misses with a head kick.
Kroton scores with a spinning back kick!
Kroton fails with a takedown attempt.
Kroton lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Kytta misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kroton bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kytta tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Some bone on bone action there as Kroton checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Kroton feints and then cracks Kytta's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kytta down.

Kroton drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kroton looking to sit in guard and control but Kytta gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Kroton is pulling down on Kytta's head. It's preventing any offense from Kytta, at least for the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kytta wants to stand but Kroton is controlling his posture from full guard.

Kroton pushes a forearm under Kytta's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Kytta is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
