Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hisoka Misawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moore has chosen Funeral Thirst as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Misawa clinches with his opponent.
Moore lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Moore throws an elbow that misses.
Moore swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Misawa lands a body punch.
Misawa prevents a body shot from Moore.
Misawa dodges an elbow strike from Moore.

Moore manages to break the clinch.
Moore throws a big shot that misses.
Misawa circles away from the clinch attempt.
Moore shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Misawa as he jumps to the side.

and Misawa counters with a straight right hand.
Misawa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Moore was well out of range. Poor timing from Misawa.
Moore tries to close the distance and clinch up but Misawa swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Moore clinches up with Misawa and pushes him back against the cage.
Misawa blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Moore fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Misawa jumps into guard, dragging Moore to the mat.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Misawa lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Moore!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Moore drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Moore jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Misawa is on top in guard.

Misawa is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Moore is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Moore has escaped and now he's on top!
Misawa manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Moore manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Hisoka Misawa will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Moore has picked Misawa up - he's going for a ride! Moore dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Moore wants to work for an arm triangle but Misawa is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Moore shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Moore showed some decent athleticism there.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Moore connects with a nice short shot to Misawa's temple.

Misawa is trying to maintain the position but Moore is very close to passing his half guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hisoka Misawa will probably get the nod.

Misawa is pulling down on Moore's head. It's preventing any offense from Moore, at least for the moment.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Misawa, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
