War is coming kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rusty Helber!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Summers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Helber manages to avoid it.

Summers drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Summers wants to pass the guard but Helber is keeping the position.

Helber had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Summers defends it easily.
Summers postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Helber preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Helber looking to control.
Helber might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Summers kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Rusty Helber has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Summers closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Summers stands and throws Helber's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Summers throws a strike aimed at the side of Helber's head but Helber avoids it well.
Helber can't do much from the bottom here.

Summers drives through with a takedown into Helber's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Helber escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Summers gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Summers postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Summers looking to sit in guard and control but Helber gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Summers pulls Helber in close to prevent any damage.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Helber distracts Summers with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Helber won't allow Summers to sweep him here.
Summers manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Summers lands with some strikes.
Helber wants to control but Summers is having none of it.

Helber is working to get back to half guard.
Helber tries to lock up and control but Summers gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Summers wants to control the pace but Helber is squirming around nicely.
Summers lands a big shot there that rocks Helber but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Summers lands a big shot to the head and Helber winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

After the fight, Dylan Summers was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
