The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connely rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Yamamoto connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Connely tries to bum rush Yamamoto with a series of wild strikes but Yamamoto uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Connely misses with a straight left.
Connely lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Yamamoto misses with an uppercut
and Connely counters with a one-two to the body.
Yamamoto looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Connely moves away from the strike by Yamamoto.
Connely moves out of range of the strikes.
Connely steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Yamamoto.
Yamamoto is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Connely.

Connely misses with a straight left.
Yamamoto looks to land a body kick but Connely moved away.
Yamamoto lands a lovely overhand right.
Yamamoto takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

It looks like Go Yamamoto has been cut.
Connely throws a shot from downtown. Yamamoto moves away and avoids it.
Yamamoto scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Connely avoids the body shot from Yamamoto.
Yamamoto misses with a jab, cross combination.
Yamamoto clobbers Connely with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Connely tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yamamoto swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A slow jab from Connely misses its intended target.
Connely moves out of range of the body kick.
Connely dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Yamamoto looks to throw a body kick
and Connely counters with a straight right hand.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Connely! Yamamoto is backing up but he can't get away as Connely lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Yamamoto and ends the fight. Great knockout.
