Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Aces (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato Mendes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aces looks to land a combination. Mendes sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Renato Mendes has been cut.
Aces lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Mendes drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Mendes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Aces tries to avoid it but Mendes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Aces to the ground. Aces escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Horrible takedown by Mendes or perhaps it was just good defense by Aces which made him look bad.
Aces is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Mendes hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jonny Aces!
In his post fight interview, Jonny Aces started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
