Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Solar Flair!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Busy Signal!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Signal fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Signal is trying hard to land a takedown here. Flair sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Signal shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Flair defends it nicely.
Solar Flair has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Busy Signal.
A jab from Signal misses.
Busy Signal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Signal has a takedown stuffed.
Signal fails to land the takedown.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Signal closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Signal is working for a kimura but Flair is defending it quite comfortably.

Signal is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Flair has managed to free his arm - good work.
Signal is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Flair!
Signal lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Signal is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Flair to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Flair shrugs it off.

Signal wants to finish this one by submission but Flair is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Signal.
Flair is in all sorts of trouble here.

Signal cracks Flair with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Signal tries to control but Flair wriggling away.
Signal thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Signal has hold of Flair's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Flair manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Signal unloads with some shots from mount but Flair bucks and avoids them well.
Signal tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Signal scores with a couple of good head shots there.


Flair is rocked!


It looks like Solar Flair has been cut.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Flair defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Signal.
Signal controlling the pace for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Busy Signal dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Solar Flair's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!


Flair looks to land a right hand but Signal moved out of range.
Signal looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Flair is fending him off so far but Signal persists. Nope, Flair circles away and we're back to standing.

Signal closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Flair's guard.

Signal drops back looking for a leg! Flair is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Flair manages to kick Signal off! Signal jumps back into Flair's guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Signal makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Signal passes Flair's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Signal has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Signal keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Signal frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Signal looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Signal controlling his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Signal looking to control but Flair is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Flair tries to buck Signal off but he can't manage it.

Signal is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Flair can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Signal raining down shots from the mount!
Signal trying to control but Flair is having none of it.

Oh Flair is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!


Solar Flair's cut is getting worse.

Signal looking to secure an arm triangle but Flair defends it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Signal lands a big shot to the head and Flair winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Busy Signal!
A less than humble Busy Signal misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
