Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Ooka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bon Kenneth Fitzgibbon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paul Ooka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bon Kenneth Fitzgibbon!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ooka lands a head kick!
Fitzgibbon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ooka circles away quickly and effectively.
Ooka looks for a takedown but Fitzgibbon sprawls well.
Fitzgibbon pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Ooka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ooka misses with a body kick.
Ooka is looking to clinch but Fitzgibbon is avoiding it.
Ooka takes one to the chin there.


It looks like Paul Ooka has been cut.
Ooka avoids the head kick by Fitzgibbon.
Fitzgibbon shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ooka eats them both and turns towards Fitzgibbon to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ooka misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ooka walks into a stiff left hand from Fitzgibbon.
Ooka throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Paul Ooka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A combination from Fitzgibbon does no damage.

Fitzgibbon looks to score with a jab to the body but Ooka is just out of range.
Ooka ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ooka throws a shot from downtown. Fitzgibbon moves away and avoids it.
Ooka staying out of range there.
Ooka fails with the takedown.
Ooka misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fitzgibbon throws a leg kick but Ooka moved away.
Fitzgibbon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Fitzgibbon lands a nice hook to Ooka's body. Ooka takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Fitzgibbon pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Fitzgibbon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ooka looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Ooka is looking for a sweep.
Ooka is breathing heavily.
Fitzgibbon in side control, throwing shots but Ooka defends.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fitzgibbon tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fitzgibbon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Ooka is being controlled here.
Ooka is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Fitzgibbon working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Ooka tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fitzgibbon wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Fitzgibbon taking a break here but Ooka is having none of it and regains half guard.

Fitzgibbon content to control rather than advance.
Ooka is looking for a sweep. Fitzgibbon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Fitzgibbon passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ooka!

Fitzgibbon is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Ooka has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Ooka wants to hold on but Fitzgibbon pushes him away.
Fitzgibbon prevents Ooka from getting the reversal.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fitzgibbon wants to control the pace but Ooka is squirming around nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ooka misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fitzgibbon.

and Ooka counters with a series of strikes. Fitzgibbon will be more careful next time no doubt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ooka. Fitzgibbon does a little dance to reset his feet.

Ooka looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fitzgibbon connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ooka momentarily.
Fitzgibbon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bon Kenneth Fitzgibbon seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Ooka connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fitzgibbon scores with a three punch combo!
Ooka dodges the punch combination from Fitzgibbon.
Fitzgibbon looks to score with a jab to the body but Ooka is just out of range.

Ooka doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Ooka scores with a hook to the body. Fitzgibbon takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Ooka is looking to wear down Fitzgibbon with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Ooka steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fitzgibbon.
Ooka plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Ooka will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fitzgibbon is looking to clinch.
Fitzgibbon cracks Ooka with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Ooka moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Fitzgibbon thows a body shot but no joy.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fitzgibbon jabs Ooka to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fitzgibbon misses with a looping left.
Ooka swings for the body but Fitzgibbon moves out of range.
Ooka fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fitzgibbon avoids it really well and circles away.
Fitzgibbon slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Fitzgibbon lands with a nice body punch.
Fitzgibbon digs a good hook to Ooka's body.
Fitzgibbon fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Some wild striking there from Fitzgibbon.

Ooka takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Fitzgibbon lands a nice looking body shot.
Ooka looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Nice uppercut lands for Fitzgibbon. That snapped Ooka's head back.
Ooka on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Fitzgibbon is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.


Paul Ooka's cut is getting worse.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fitzgibbon, as that shot connected.
Fitzgibbon lands a really nice looking cross but Ooka seems unphased.


Ooka is rocked!
Fitzgibbon throws an overhand right that has Ooka reeling! Fitzgibbon follows up with more punches and Ooka is out cold! This one is all over!

Our winner, Bon Kenneth Fitzgibbon, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
