Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Nevsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wolf comes to the cage accompanied by Primus: John the Fisherman. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Johnny Wolf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Nevsky!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolf throws a leg kick but Nevsky moved away.
Nevsky will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Nevsky throws an elbow that misses. Wolf uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Nevsky's guard. Nice move by Wolf!
Nevsky working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wolf doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wolf manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Wolf looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nevsky with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Wolf lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wolf postures up and lands a big shot to Nevsky's brow.
Nevsky can't keep his opponent in guard - Wolf advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Nevsky escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wolf gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Nevsky sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Wolf connects with a good right hand that stumbles Nevsky. Nevsky circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Wolf thows a body kick. Nevsky tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Wolf is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nevsky can do to turn this around?
