The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Yu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Ransel decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Ransel perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Yu wants to control but Ransel is keeping busy.
Ransel thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Ransel is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Yu is just riding it out for now. Ransel eventually gives up the hold.
Ransel throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Yu trying to hold on to Ransel's head to control him but Ransel postures up.
Ransel thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Ransel has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ransel scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yu is looking to improve his position.
Ransel uses his free foot to push down on Yu's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Yu.
Yu wants to control but Ransel is having none of it.
Ransel lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ransel can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Yu is looking to escape.

Ransel connects with a bit shot that sees Yu covering up! More strikes from Ransel and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Ransel is our winner by TKO!
