Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Luis Castillo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mick Dundee!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dundee takes the fight into the clinch.
Dundee drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Castillo misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Dundee.
Still in the clinch, Castillo scores with a nice short uppercut.

Dundee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A jab from Castillo misses.
Dundee tries to clinch up but Castillo circles away and keeps his distance.
Nice jab there from Castillo.
Dundee shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Castillo blocks a head kick by Dundee.
Dundee fails with the takedown.
Luis Castillo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mick Dundee.
Castillo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dundee.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Castillo scores with a nice strike.
Castillo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Luis Castillo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dundee shoots in and drives through. Castillo sprawls well.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dundee looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dundee dives in and grabs Castillo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Castillo pushes down on Dundee's head and hops out.
Castillo wants to slow Dundee down by chopping away at his legs.
Dundee takes one to the chin there.
A punch lands to the side of Dundee 's head but he takes it in his stride.


Dundee is rocked!
Castillo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dundee.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Castillo stuffs the takedown.
Dundee looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Castillo cracks Dundee with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Castillo has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Dundee to stand back up!
Dundee is still on wobbly legs! Can Castillo finish him?
Dundee fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Castillo lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Dundee falls backwards - clearly groggy! Castillo dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luis Castillo!
