The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cassio throws a hook to the side of Kowolowka's head but Kowolowka sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Cassio tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kowolowka was well out of range. Poor timing from Cassio.
Kowolowka swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kowolowka shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

and Kowolowka counters by clinching up.
Cassio can't break the clinch.
Cassio stalling in the clinch but Kowolowka improves position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
No joy there for Cassio, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Cassio backs away from a small jab... but Kowolowka lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Cassio crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Kowolowka with a spectacular finish!
