The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. OReilly darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
OReilly swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Action fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging OReilly to the ground. Action is now in OReilly's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
OReilly wants to sweep but no luck.
Action tries to free his leg and advance position but OReilly is retaining full guard.
OReilly wants to stand but Action is controlling the position.
Action trying to control but OReilly is working from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rock Action.
OReilly lands a leg kick that knocks Action off balance momentarily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Action looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

A looping hook to the body misses from OReilly. Action does a little dance to reset his feet.
OReilly dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Action takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
OReilly lands a slapping body shot.
Action takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Action closes the distance but OReilly moves to the side
and OReilly counters with a nice body shot.
Action is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Action is looking to clinch but OReilly is avoiding it.
Action slips a jab and a cross from OReilly.
Good leg kick by OReilly there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
OReilly is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Action rather than just go for the knockout.
OReilly avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A left and a right from OReilly both land. Nice combination.
Action shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Action steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from OReilly. That one must have hurt.
OReilly throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

OReilly jabs at Action's body.
Action needs to keep his hands up - OReilly had a free shot at his head there.
OReilly feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Actions jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
That kick from OReilly tenderised Action's leg. Action is trying to keep his angry face on.
OReilly paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
OReilly fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Action walks into a straight right hand from OReilly.

Action is rocked!
OReilly connects with a looping right hand.
Oh Action is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
OReilly has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Action gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! OReilly points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Action wakes up just in time to hear OReilly thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
