Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Palmeri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Connors (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palmeri comes to the cage accompanied by dragon rider. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Daniel Connors!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmeri darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Palmeri is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Connors trying to control but Palmeri postures up.
Palmeri is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Connors still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Connors has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Connors is staying tight to Palmeri's torso, preventing him from escaping.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Let's hope that Connors has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Connors wants to lay and pray for a moment but Palmeri keeps working.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Daniel Connors.
Connors dodges the punch combination from Palmeri.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Connors misses with a takedown
and Palmeri counters with a crisp one two that drops Connors! Palmeri thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Connors to his feet! Connors is in big trouble!
Connors is rocked!
Palmeri shoots in for a takedown. SLAM! Brutal! Connors is out cold and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Frank Palmeri!
A relieved looking Frank Palmeri thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
