Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Solomon Zook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tsatsu Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zook comes to the cage accompanied by God's Gonna Cut You Down. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gomi shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gomi showed some decent athleticism there.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Let's hope that Gomi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

We're going to have a standup here because Solomon Zook wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Some bone on bone action there as Gomi checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Zook enables Gomi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Zook manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
