The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moonlight bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Gruffo looks to land a right hand but Moonlight moved out of range.

Gruffo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Moonlight moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Moonlight dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gruffo. That did some damage!

Gruffo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Moonlight to score with a decent uppercut.
Moonlight cracks Gruffo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Moonlight shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Gruffo eats them both and turns towards Moonlight to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Moonlight lands a slapping body shot.
Moonlight lands a hook that stumbles Gruffo back into the cage. Moonlight follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Gruffo to the canvas! Moonlight pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Gruffo has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). The Pale Moonlight!
A relieved looking The Pale Moonlight thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
