The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams throws a series of punches but Chabal avoids them all with ease.
Williams wants to clinch up but Chabal keeps it at a distance.
Williams doesn't manage to clinch there - Chabal circles away.
Williams uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Chabal.
Williams tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chabal swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Phil Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chabal shoots in and gets a takedown into Williams's guard.
Chabal is pushing down on Williams's leg trying to pass to half guard. Williams is fighting to maintain full guard but Chabal has managed to sneak the leg through.
