Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mop Maipen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Ashton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ashton shoots in for a takedown but Maipen shows good takedown defense.
A telegraphed right hand from Maipen misses the target.

Ashton drives through with a takedown into Maipen's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Ashton wants to control from the top but Maipen keeps moving.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Maipen holds on and takes a little breather.

Maipen is pressed up against the cage. Ashton has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Maipen down to the mat. Maipen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Maipen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Maipen wants it to stay on the feet.

Maipen is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ashton looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ashton closes the distance and clinches up with Maipen, looking for a takedown. Ashton pushes Maipen against the cage but Maipen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ashton seems to have recovered his senses.

Maipen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ashton fails to land the takedown.
Ashton moves out of range as Maipen strikes.
Maipen ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Maipen connects with a looping right hand.
Ashton tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Maipen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Maipen moves into range and connects with a jab.
Maipen digs a good body shot into Ashton's ribs.

Maipen drops Ashton with a huge uppercut! Ashton drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Maipen is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
