Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Patrick Jane!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hector Mendoza!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jane fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mendoza manages to avoid it.
Mendoza moves out of range as Jane strikes.
Mendoza chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jane can pounce on him.
Mendoza throws a hook to the side of Jane's head but Jane sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Mendoza loads up on a big right hand but Jane slips the punch.
Mendoza is looking to score with low kicks.
Mendoza misses with a kick to the body.
Jane throws an overhand right that lands on Mendoza's shoulder, as Mendoza tries to avoid the shot.
A bone on bone clash there as Mendoza blocks the leg kick.
Jane lands with an uppercut that bounces Mendoza off the ropes and back into range.

It looks like Hector Mendoza has been cut.
Jane avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Jane connects with a looping right hand.
Jane cracks Mendoza with a right hand to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jane lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mendoza looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mendoza throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Jane feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mendoza's calf.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mendoza. Jane does a little dance to reset his feet.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jane.
Jane connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Mendoza slips under a jab.
A slapping leg kick lands for Jane.
Mendoza throws a lazy head kick
and Jane counters with an outside leg kick.
Mendoza throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Jane counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Mendoza looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jane scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mendoza in his tracks.

Mendoza has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mendoza there as he acknowledges the shot.
Jane feints and then cracks Mendoza's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mendoza down.

Mendoza takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Mendoza's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Jane scores with a nice strike.
Jane connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

A nice inside leg kick there by Jane. That's going to slow Mendoza down.

Jane digs a good hook to Mendoza's body.
Jane smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Jane catches Mendoza with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Mendoza takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jane is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jane clobbers Mendoza with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jane.
Jane cracks Mendoza with an open hand slap.

That has opened up Hector Mendoza's cut even more.
Jane with a hook.
Jane lands with an uppercut that bounces Mendoza off the ropes and back into range.

Jane cracks Mendoza with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Mendoza get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Mendoza looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!

Mendoza is rocked!

Mendoza walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Jane rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Mendoza has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.
Mendoza is still on wobbly legs! Can Jane finish him?

The cut above Hector Mendoza's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Jane feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mendoza's calf.
Mendoza seems to have recovered his senses.

Jane connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Mendoza onto his butt! Mendoza bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.
Jane thumps Mendoza with a low kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Good standup being displayed there by Jane as he connects with a hook.
Jane knocks out Mendoza with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Jane before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Jane picks up the big W with a huge KO!
