The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer lands with a right hand.
Rideout fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Palmer avoids it really well and circles away.
Palmer should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Rideout is looking to clinch.
Palmer misses with a two punch combination.
Palmer just misses with a punch to the body.
Palmer lands a nice shot that snaps Rideout's head back.
Palmer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rideout shoots for a takedown but Palmer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rideout throws a hook to the side of Palmer's head but Palmer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nice uppercut there from Palmer.
Rideout takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Rideout really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Palmer misses the shot to the body.
Palmer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Palmer lands with a good body shot.
Rideout moves to clinch but Palmer breaks away
and Palmer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rideout shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Palmer sprawls well. Palmer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rideout gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Rideout. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rideout thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Palmer if he has to take too many more of those.
