The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

SD shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. SD showed some decent athleticism there.
Belforte wants to improve his position but SD is controlling well.

Belforte had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. SD is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Belforte Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take SD's back instead.
