Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alphonse Gabriel Capone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Donavan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott Donavan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donavan scores with a decent looking hook.
Donavan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Capone moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Donavan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Donavan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Donavan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Capone closes this distance looking for a takedown but Donavan circles away.

and Donavan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Capone has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Donavan throws a right and a left that Capone avoids nicely.
Capone closes the distance and clinches up with Donavan, looking for a takedown. Capone pushes Donavan against the cage but Donavan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Capone tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Capone lands a head kick. Donavan smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Donavan connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Capone momentarily.

and Donavan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Capone closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Donavan throws a right and a left that Capone avoids nicely.
Capone tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Donavan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Donavan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Capone circles away quickly and effectively.

Donavan throws a lazy right hand but Capone sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Donavan throws a right hand that Capone ducks under and follows up with a left that Capone also avoids with ease.
Capone slips a jab from Donavan.
A chopping leg kick lands by Capone.
Donavan takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Capone tries for a takedown but Donavan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Capone tries to close the distance and clinch but Donavan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Capone fails with an attempt to clinch.
Donavan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Capone counters with a good low kick that Donavan was not able to check.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Capone tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Donavan paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Donavan counters with a one-two to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Capone clinches with his opponent.
Donavan has had enough of the clinch but Capone keeps him there for the moment.
Capone tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Donavan just stands there and leans against the cage.
Donavan prevents a takedown attempt there.

Donavan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Donavan's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Donavan duly obliges.
Capone doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
