Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grigory Stensky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stensky comes into the arena with GORBACHOV blaring out of the sound system. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xavier uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stensky.
Xavier comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Xavier throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stensky throws a body punch but Xavier moves out of range.
Stensky thows a body shot but no joy.
Xavier keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stensky.

Stensky just misses with a punch to the body.

and Xavier counters by moving into the clinch.
Xavier dodges an elbow strike from Stensky.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Xavier lands a left hand.
Stensky blocks an uppercut.

Stensky tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Xavier just stands there and leans against the cage.

Stensky jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Xavier walks away with a smile on his face. Stensky gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Grigory Stensky. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Stensky clinches with his opponent.
Stensky jumps guard but Xavier turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Xavier lands a right hand.
A short uppercut from Xavier.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Stensky has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Xavier uses from the top position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Xavier would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Xavier stands and steps away. Stensky gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Xavier lands a shoulder strike.
Stensky using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Xavier has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Stensky tries to pull guard but Xavier holds him up against the cage and eventually Stensky drops back down to his feet.
Stensky wants to stall.

Xavier lands a right hand that snaps the head of Stensky backwards.

Stensky is rocked!
Xavier lands a nice uppercut.
Oh Stensky is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Xavier lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Xavier creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Stensky with a big uppercut! Stensky tries to clinch up but Xavier pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Stensky to the mat! Stensky covers up and Xavier unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
