Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Terrance Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marlin McCann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by Riot by Three Days Grace. The crowd seem to be enjoying McCann's choice of entrance music: Highway to Hell (AC/DC). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Smith - just one landing.
A slow jab from Smith misses its intended target.
McCann swings widly with a right hand
and Smith cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Good standup being displayed there by Smith as he connects with a hook.
Smith connects with a single shot there.
Smith lands a head shot.
McCann misses with a double jab
and Smith cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
McCann lands with an uppercut that bounces Smith off the cage and back into range.
Smith lands a jab to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McCann throws a poor cross that misses
and Smith counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
McCann connects with the punch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McCann looks to land a combination but Smith avoids it well.
Smith throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Smith lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Smith scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
McCann fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Smith, pushing him back against the cage.
McCann pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Smith lands with a cross.
Terrance Smith is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Smith connects with a good right hand that stumbles McCann. McCann circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A big left from McCann misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
McCann with a poor takedown
and Smith counters with a nice body shot.
Smith dips to his left and cracks McCann with an uppercut!
McCann is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Smith throws a lazy right hand but McCann sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
McCann is still on wobbly legs! Can Smith finish him?
McCann ducks under a wild hook from Smith.
Smith cracks McCann's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! McCann slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Smith can do further damage! This one is done, son!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Terrance Smith!
