Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paddy Odoors (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petrov has chosen Wolf Pack as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Odoors looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Petrov shoots in but no luck this time.
Odoors leaves Petrov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Odoors tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Petrov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Odoors sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Paddy Odoors has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vladimir Petrov.
Petrov dives in and grabs Odoors's left leg, looking for a takedown. Odoors pushes down on Petrov's head and hops out.
Odoors tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Petrov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Odoors tries to bum rush Petrov with a series of wild strikes but Petrov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

so Petrov counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Petrov wants to control from the top but Odoors keeps moving.
Petrov is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Odoors wriggles free and stands up.
Odoors wants to clinch up but Petrov keeps it at a distance.
Odoors will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Odoors fails with an attempt to clinch.

Petrov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Odoors counters with a head kick. That will keep Petrov thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vladimir Petrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Odoors tries to clinch but Petrov is having none of it.
Horrible takedown by Petrov or perhaps it was just good defense by Odoors which made him look bad.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Petrov.
Petrov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Odoors defends it nicely.

and Odoors counters with a head kick. That will keep Petrov thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Petrov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Odoors avoids it really well and circles away.
Petrov gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Odoors counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Odoors tries to land a knee to the head but Petrov blocks with his arms.
Petrov is looking to take this one to the mat.
Odoors has Petrov pressed against the ropes, preventing Petrov from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Odoors is pushing Petrov up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Petrov tries for a takedown. No joy.

Odoors dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the ropes.
Odoors throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Petrov gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Odoors is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Petrov trying to control the position from guard on top but Odoors is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Odoors is looking to stand back up but Petrov counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Odoors.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Paddy Odoors will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Odoors closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Odoors with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Petrov is working for takedown but Odoors is calmly controlling the position for now.
Petrov tries to circle away but Odoors has him pinned against the ropes.
Odoors stalling in the clinch but Petrov improves position.
Odoors misses with a knee to the head.

Petrov drags the fight down to the ground.

Odoors has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Petrov is proving hard to escape from.

Petrov is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Petrov is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Odoors has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Petrov to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Odoors is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Petrov pulls down on the head and he's put Odoors to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Vladimir Petrov!
Vladimir Petrov got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
