Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Syete Gabilog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Radon Randell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Radon Randell!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randell lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Syete Gabilog has been cut.
Gabilog closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Randell throws a head kick but Gabilog moves out of range.
Randell buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Gabilog moves out of range of the body kick from Randell.

Randell moves into the clinch.
Randell is pressed up against the cage. Gabilog has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Randell down to the mat. Randell avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Gabilog keeps the fight on the outside.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Gabilog checks a leg kick.

Gabilog closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Randell did well to prevent Gabilog getting side control.

Randell is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Gabilog wants to take a breather but Randell is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Gabilog misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Gabilog throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Randell because Gabilog loaded up on that one.

Randell wants to control but Gabilog is having none of it.
Randell is hanging on here. He's in a desperate position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Randell is squirming around, avoiding Gabilog's attempts to control the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Radon Randell will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Syete Gabilog's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Gabilog misses with a takedown attempt - Randell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Randell lands an overhand right.
Gabilog looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Randell connects with a solid leg kick.
Randell circles away from the clinch attempt.
Randell throws a leg kick which misses Gabilog's front leg but catches the back leg as Gabilog tries to avoid it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Randell, as that shot connected.

Randell feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gabilog's calf.

Randell throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Randell clinches.

Randell has clasped his hands together around Gabilog's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The ground and pound from Randell seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Randell cracks Gabilog with a big elbow.
Gabilog is trying to escape the position but Randell is controlling the position.
Gabilog parries the strikes from Randell easily there. Randell is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Gabilog to escape.
Gabilog knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Randell on the ground.
Gabilog tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Randell wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Randell moves into full mount!

Randell unloads with some shots from mount but Gabilog bucks and avoids them well.
A nice elbow there by Randell.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Randell tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Randell throwing strikes here but Gabilog is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Randell misses with a head shot.
Gabilog is bucking up trying to escape but Randell cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Randell pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Randell lands a big shot there that rocks Gabilog but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Randell unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Gabilog wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Randell celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
