Willis comes to the ring accompanied by Hometown Hero. Maia comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bulls on Parade kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Maia.
Willis has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Willis there as he acknowledges the shot.
Willis drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Maia avoids the body shot from Willis.
Maia misses with a looping right.
Maia connects with a right hand. Willis shakes it off.

A lazy left from Maia finds it's target.

Willis is rocked!

Oh Willis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Maia attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Willis seems to have got his legs back now.
Maia throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Willis stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Maia misses with a straight left.

Maia cracks Willis with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Willis looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Maia finish him?
Maia is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Maia dances in with a quick combination. Willis is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Maia snaps Willis's head back. Willis stumbles backwards against the ropes. Maia steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Willis's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Willis just didn't come prepared.
