That was a close round but I would say that Juan Tamad will probably get the nod.

A clash of legs there as Castillo blocks the low kick.
Castillo connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Tamad's hands.
Tamad throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tamad shoots for a double leg takedown but Castillo sprawls well. He's pushed Tamad's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Castillo throws the left hand but Tamad avoids the punch easily.

Castillo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Tamad manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Luis Castillo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Castillo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tamad sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Tamad slips a jab from Castillo.
Castillo tries to clinch up.
Tamad dodges the punch combination from Castillo.
Castillo takes a swing at Tamad's ribcage but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Castillo gets caught napping as Tamad dives in and scores a takedown. Castillo manages to retain guard.
Castillo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tamad. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Castillo avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Tamad.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Tamad advances nicely into full mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A big strike lands for Tamad! That's really hurt Castillo and he's turned his back - Tamad keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Tamad jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

During a confident post fight interview, Juan Tamad thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
