Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beast has his takedown stuffed
and James counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Beast misses with a takedown
and James counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
James really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A bone on bone clash there as Beast blocks the leg kick.

John James has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Beast.

Beast feints and as James raises his hands in defense, Beast changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Beast stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and James has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Beast manages to get his head free but now James has transitioned to an armbar! Beast grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from James! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

John James decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
