Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kean Denver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Awts Wew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Awts Wew told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Kean Denver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Awts Wew!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Denver.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Wew is looking to reverse the position.

Denver is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wew is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Denver lands a few punches from side control.

Denver stands up.
Wew shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Denver sprawls well. Denver wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wew gets slowly back to his feet.
Denver throws a low kick, looking for Wew's leg but Wew calmly moves out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wew is defended easily by Denver.
Wew shoots in and drives through. Denver sprawls well.
Kean Denver has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Awts Wew.
Wew defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Denver.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wew misses with a takedown attempt
and Denver counters with a three punch combo that has Wew backing up. Wew nods at Denver to acknowledge the strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wew fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Denver throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wew has his takedown stuffed

and Denver counters with a shoot takedown. Wew fights it but they end up in guard.
Denver loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Denver postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Denver with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Wew has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Denver can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Wew looks gassed!
Denver's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Denver decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Wew drives through with a takedown into guard.

Wew is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Denver is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Denver has escaped and now he's on top!

Wew is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Denver defends well.

Wew had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Denver defends it easily.
Denver advances to half guard.

Denver maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Wew could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Denver has cracked it and Wew is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Denver!
