Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Phineus Gage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karol Salamon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gage comes to the ring accompanied by Guns N Roses - Welcome to the Jungle. Salamon is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Republika - Nie pytaj o Polske. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salamon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Salamon rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gage counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Salamon keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gage staying out of range there.
Gage looks to land a combination. Salamon sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Salamon takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Salamon throws the left hand but Gage avoids the punch easily.
Gage lunges at Salamon with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Salamon's hand.
Gage scores with a nice body kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gage throws a nice looking combination but Salamon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Phineus Gage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Gage counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Salamon throws a push kick but Gage slaps the foot to one side.
Gage lunges at Salamon with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Salamon's hand.
Salamon tries to work over Gage's front leg with a kick but Gage checks it.
Gage keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Salamon takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Gage scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Gage throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Salamon.

Salamon moves out of range of the body kick from Gage.
Gage rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Salamon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gage lands with a nice body kick.
Salamon has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Gage throws a half hearted mid kick.
Phineus Gage is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gage misses with a series of wild punches.
Salamon has a takedown stuffed.
Phineus Gage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karol Salamon.

Gage lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Salamon circles away quickly and effectively.

Gage throws a right hand that Salamon ducks under and follows up with a left that Salamon also avoids with ease.
Gage thuds a left hand into Salamon's body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Salamon takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Gage throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gage swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Salamon takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Phineus Gage dominated that round.

Gage throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gage moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Gage lands with a right that hurts Salamon. Salamon looks to clinch but Gage throws a short knee that drops Salamon. This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Phineus Gage started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
