The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Souza closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Caesar did well to prevent Souza getting side control.

Souza seems to be working for a kimura but Caesar defends the submission attempt.
Caesar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Souza. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Caesar is not content to let Souza control the position.
Caesar won't allow Souza to pass to mount.
Souza passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Caesar!
Caesar tries to hold on but Souza pushes him away.
